The Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR) and Shandong LI MAO TONG Company officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 18, 2025 at Hiruy Hall, EIAR Headquarters. This strategic partnership aims to foster collaboration across multiple critical areas, including short-term training programs, joint development, adaptation, and modification of agricultural technologies, as well as technology transfer, prototype development and testing, and knowledge exchange.

The agreement underscores a shared commitment to advancing agricultural engineering technologies through capacity building, experience sharing, and innovative research. By working together, EIAR and Shandong LI MAO TONG aspire to accelerate Ethiopia’s agricultural development and promote sustainable, cutting-edge solutions for farmers and stakeholders nationwide.
