Since its establishment in 2023, the Djibouti (Overseas Warehouse) Cross-border E-commerce Exhibition and Sales Center, located in the Djibouti International Free Trade Zone in East Africa, has been dedicated to building a "robust artery" for China-Africa economic and trade exchanges. Leveraging the "cross-border trade + pre-positioned warehouse" model and a localized professional team, the platform continuously provides one-stop, butler-style services for Chinese enterprises entering Africa.

 Recently, the platform successfully hosted a delegation of over ten young entrepreneurs from South Africa. In response to the complex terrain conditions and agricultural mechanization needs in South Africa, the platform utilized the supply chain advantages of Shandong—a key agricultural equipment manufacturing base in China—to precisely match and lead customers to visit high-quality tractor factories. 

During the inspection, the South African customers not only highly commended the product quality and after-sales service but also offered valuable constructive suggestions for the iterative upgrade of Chinese tractors based on local working conditions. This deep exchange, connecting demand directly with manufacturing, resulted in the signing of intention orders on the spot. 

This collaboration is not only another breakthrough for "Made in China" in the South African market but also a significant achievement of the Djibouti overseas warehouse platform in deepening the "cross-border trade + pre-positioned warehouse" model and providing customized matchmaking services. In the future, the platform will continue to rely on its localized African team to assist more Chinese enterprises in precisely meeting African demands, further smoothing the China-Africa economic and trade ties.
