Visiting Shandong for Supply Chain Inspection: Expand East African Market via Djibouti Overseas Warehouse
Updated:1780899790

In June 2026, our Djibouti overseas warehouse team, together with Ethiopian business partners, conducted factory audits and supply chain inspections across Shandong. As a key logistics hub in East Africa, our overseas warehouse serves as a vital transit hub for goods shipped from China to Ethiopia and inland East African countries, providing warehousing and distribution services. This trip aimed to select high-quality products and build stable cross-border cooperation channels for the East African market.

With the support of local cross-border e-commerce associations, our team visited numerous outstanding local enterprises specializing in new materials, power equipment, building materials and more. We inspected production lines, product craftsmanship, production capacity and export qualifications on-site to evaluate their overall strength.

During meetings, both sides had in-depth discussions on product adaptation, bulk supply, logistics, customs clearance and overseas warehousing. We shared practical experience about the East African market, import policies and warehouse operations, while local enterprises introduced their product advantages and supply capabilities. A number of cooperation intentions were reached.

Boasting solid industrial foundations and reliable product quality, enterprises in Shandong are well-suited for the infrastructure and industrial development needs of Ethiopia. This inspection tour achieved fruitful results in supplier selection and business connection.

Going forward, we will leverage the advantages of the Djibouti overseas warehouse to form a complete trade chain linking Shandong suppliers, our overseas warehouse and end markets in East Africa. We will further strengthen cooperation with Shandong enterprises. We look forward to jointly exploring opportunities in East Africa and promoting mutually beneficial long-term China-Africa cross-border trade.
